We have had a car racing at Mountpleasant Speedway (MPS) for 2 years now. We decieded to finally show our apreciation to the great young driver (Mark Eastman). And also acknowledge his accomplishments throughout the past 2 years.
Mark has achivied great self-control and self-confidence while racing at MPS. But now lets get to the things that are important to him.......he was the "Rookie of The Year" last year and also recieved 5th place in points in the stock 4's class last year.
He has always been up there runnin with the top cars but never has he won a race until last fri. (June 20th). He very well earned that win as he fought off the second place car who was on his tail all the way to the checkered flag. "It was a very good race but it got even better when i knew I had won" said mark as he got back to the pits.
We would also like to thank our sponsors which include Eastman Auto Inc. and Eastman Outdoor Inc. They have been a great help and have always been there for us probably because they are us.
Oh by the way this is Mark who is writting this whole page and i would like to thank my mom because she is always in the stands whenever she can be there cheering me on. I would also like to thank my sister Megan Eastman and her boyfriend Brian Bruman for being there whenever it was possible and for being there cheerin me on for my first career win.
But MOST importantly i would like to thank my dad Richard Eastman who also race cars when he was my age. but he has been there when i crashed and spun out but also when i won. when i would wreck the car he was never mad he would just say something like "what did you learn from that?" or "well you got some work to do!" but i just want to thank him a million for being there.
I was supposed to put a few of my pics on here to show whoever is reading this but my computer is being retarted right now so keep checking and hopefully i will have them on here soon. thanks for all your suport everyone!
